chief complaint: Chron's disease
A 27 year old woman complained of Crohn’s disease for 6 years. She had frequent loose stools with small amounts of mucous and blood. During flare ups, she reported as many as 10 episodes/day of bowel movements with mucous and blood. When we started her treatment, she reported 2-3 BM’s per day. She received 8 weekly treatments and then occasional tuneups at longer intervals. She stated she was much improved after her acupuncture care. Whenever a flare up begins, she uses herbs with good results.|
